"Album with 13 songs, all music and lyrics by Massimo De Ciechi, ranging from folk to pop, to songwriter style."
The title reflects the album concept, linked to the idea of "travel". The lyrics, rich in metaphors, lead to merge poetry with music in a dance of sincere feelings. The tone is mostly autobiographical and wants to talk to individuals far more than to a broad audience indefinitely. The style ranges from folk to acoustic, from pop to the typical Italian songwriters, exploring songs as we explore new stations, cities, squares and skies in a pleasant and exciting journey.
Massimo De Ciechi
Massimo De Ciechi was born in Cuggiono (MI) in 1965, and began to take an interest in music and poetry in the period of adolescence, trying to enhance its talent for writing songs and verses. In 1980 he founded together with 5 other friends the band Aurora, who, in 1986, publishes the album Quando la vita è amore (Rusty Record), consisting of 10 songs of which he is the author of all music and lyrics. After this experience, his focus moves more to creative poetry, although not forgetting the musical performance. In the early years of the new millennium comes back strong his creative vein with the creation of the track Sentimenti silenziosi, which allows him to get in touch with Franco D'Elia, e l'arrangiatore Stefano Florio, who help him to start the project of a solo album. In 2005 he produces the poetic Ritratti e tratteggi di improvvisi smarrimenti pendolari, published by Editrice di Antonietta Ibiskos Risoli. In October 2007 he decided to found the Deasonus, with which, in November 2007, has published the album Questo strano viaggio, composed of 13 songs of which he is author of both lyrics and music, arranged by Stefano Florio and under the artistic supervision of Franco D'Elia. He is currently working on writing his second poetry who hopes to publish during 2009.
