"Follia" is a journey, an odissey through the eyes and the words of an apparently ordinary individual, who secretly cultivates a repressed, vengeance yearning instinctuality within himself. A journey that begins from the search of a dissociation from reality, passing through the gradual separation from the world, the obsession for an affection-free, mechanical sexuality, leading then to obsessiveness for power, to violence, reaching, at last, the deprivation, the pain, the death (real or metaphoric?) and the "rebirth", or the acquisition of a new awareness of his own instinctual and reasonless side and, perhaps, the ability to control and sublimate drives through art.
Gemiti
Gemiti were formed in 2003 by David (vocals) and Sergio (computer), who started, initially as a duo, a musical project oriented towards electronic/industrial/dark sounds, and characterized by direct lyrics without censorships.
Successively the lineup grows with the income of Saverio (guitars) and Enzo (drums) with David taking care of bass duties (alongside vocals).
In 2007/8 they publish two EPs, “Eros”, and "in Trance: Live in Studio", both distributed in Mp3 format under Creative Commons license. In 2008/9 they play in the musical “Mimě che la vita racconta” and are included in the OST for the movie “Ogni giorno come se fosse l'ultimo”, both by Italo Zeus.
