This EP combines my style of songwriting with the guitar performance by Matteo Gamberini. Compared to my previous album, The Dolly's Legend, this one is much more elaborated, having given Matteo complete freedom to create: there are deep plots of guitars. The themes here are more personal than in my previous work, but there are also songs like Jesus Had No Money and No Need To Go Home with lyrics very profound. With the most aggressive song, I Just Want to Be Happy , I would like to explain to all the people who close the spaces to play music and to express ourselves that musicians, in the end, just want to be happy ... we are not stealing!
The Dolly's Legend Francesco Nobile, a.k.a. Frank, was born on October the first, 1985, in Bologna. His first album is The Dolly's Legend, a name that was also used for the entire music project. The album was completely self produced, and was released April 18, 2008. The second work is the EP Back Down The Road, published in September 2009, after a tour of fifty live concerts in Italy. The album was recorded by Frank (voices and harmonics) and Matteo Gamberini (guitars: his project is called August in Fall). Frank wrote all six songs of the new album, while Matteo had also the role of artistic producer.
